Fingerpicking Basics
Learn how to add fingerpicking to your uke trick bag This workshop focuses on your rhythm hand and you will not use a single chord. We'll talk about how to develop your picking skills and how to use it in conjunction with strumming to add spice to your playing.
This is for beginners who are comfortable strumming and want to start using the rest of the fingers on their rhythm hand to add interest.
The blues can sound really repetitive after a while unless you learn to add some licks and runs to your playing. We'll work on a basic 12 bar blues pattern and learn some licks that everyone can play to spice up the song. This is for raw beginners who are comfortable with the chords C, F, G7 and adding some simple single note picking to the progression.
