Digga Digga Duo is a 4 strings duo formed by Ana Bandarra on ukulele and Eduardo Vilamaior on double bass. The couple has been diving in the American songbook in search for musical pearls from the beginning of 20th century, adapting the arrangements to suit their reduced format also making use of the ludic kazoos. The repertoire focuses on popular songs from the vo-do-de-o days, that were usually classified as “foxtrots” on their sheet music covers and 78 shellac labels. They´ve been playing since 2012, mostly in sunny Rio de Janeiro, where they are based, but over last years they have been performing internationally in Portugal, Ireland and Uk.
